Bent Rail Boots by Justin

These bent rail boots are not quite as edgy as some of the lower priced boots in the line, but if you can spend $250 on a pair of cowboy boots, there might be the boots to do it on.

The bent rail line was introduced to go after the indie country music scene – these boots don’t seem to fit that mold, but we like them all the same.

These boots have a wide square toe and a single white stitch welt.  The  1 3/8 Inch Long Base Block Heel adds a little height to the boot. The J comfort system is standard.

Faux Leather

Published by Sigrid under Cowboy Boots

If you are a vegan and cannot wear genuine leather, do not worry because there are faux leather boots available in the market thanks to Chinese manufacturers. It’s not that the Chinese are vegans or anything; they just seem to produce lots of things made out of anything and everything. If you remember Joaquin Phoenix that Puerto Rican actor and occasional rapper, then you must also remember when he said he will not wear anything made out of animal skin.

Although to many people, this can be quite ridiculous, the animal rights activist stood his ground and insisted on donning plastic cowboy boots. He insisted on this for his Johnnny Cash biopic. If you are like Mr. Phoenix, and want faux leather cowboy boots, there is no need to look for boots at Luchesse or Justin because you can easily find one at Target.

Fashion experts from Milan and Paris have spoken –cowboy boots are not in designers’ list for the 2010 collection but if you are a western wear enthusiast, you would not really care what these designers have to say. Cowboy boots have been replaced by so many things through the years, this includes stilettos, rubber shoes, sandals and other types of footwear but they are still the reigning champion when it comes to consumers. Cowboy boots are versatile and they are fit for use for all four seasons. Apart from being versatile, they are also very sturdy and can last for a very long time. Although cowboy boots were made for cowboys, today, many of those who wear them do not even know how to ride a horse.

According to one blogger who loves cowboy boots, there are no longer that many cowboys but their boots have outlived their very existence.

Even if they are no longer commonly used for their traditional purpose, cowboy boots are thriving as a hot fashion item and many celebrities are donning their cowboy boots as part of their everyday wear.

Cowgirl Fashion: How To Wear Your Cowboy Boots

Published by under Cowboy Boots, Cowgirl Fashion

Although Vogue fanatics may say that cowboy boots are not so “in” right this moment, you can always wear cowboy boots because they can be classy, stylish or rugged. Women can wear their cowboy boots with jeans –this is the classy way to wearing a pair of western boots. There are 2 methods to do this, one is wearing it under your jeans and the second one is to tuck your pants in the boots to show how pretty those cowboy boots are.

For the first method, this gives you some height while still looking casual. Use wide-legged jeans for this style since cowboy boots are often wide around the leg area. Make sure that your jeans are long enough to not show off the boots since this is the main purpose of this look. If you want to look thin and look like you have long legs, you should wear this look more often.

The second method –wearing your cowboy boots over your jeans is a good way to show off those boots. They are perfect with real tight jeans or skinny’s. Pair a leather jacket with your boots and you’d be looking like one of those stars from Hollywood.

If you love wearing dresses, pick one of those airy or loose dresses you have and wear your boots with the dress of your choice. White, off-white or light beige are good color choices.
