Cowboy boots are sexy but cowboys are sexier, don’t you agree? They are always sexy both in their cowboy hats or their cowboy boots but mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the sexiest cowboy of them all? You decide.

Imagine this cowboy riding with his top down, or his top off rather. If that isn’t hot, what is?

Well we all know that cowboys are friendly with the horses in a horse whisperer kind of way but they sure are friendly with the ladies. Cowboys are real gentlemen really and are oh-so-dreamy.

Alright, here’s another cowboy with his top off. Cowboys don’t need to take their tops off to look sexy really but if it’s hot out, why stop them?

What do cowboys do after a good lunch? Chew on hay maybe but whether they chew on hay or smoke a cigarette, it still looks very sexy. We do not mean to put photos with cowboys with their tops off but really ladies, these photos look super awesome. Now it makes me want to go to Boot City and buy a new pair of cowboy boots.

Now this one is for the ladies who focus on the face and the cowboy hat! A nice felt hat made from pure beaver fur is a wonderful addition to every cowboy’s wardrobe. A cute, boyish face is also a wonderful thing (sorry, can’t help it). For the ladies who would like to buy a cowboy hat, getting a Stetson is always the best choice. There are other hats one can take a look at though and some are also of great quality. A Stetson Malibu or a Stetson Durango are fine choices for a cowboy hat, so what are you waiting for? Cowboy boots are considered as the main attraction when it comes to a cowboy outfit. This familiar addition to western wear can be seen not only in the American West but also in other places. Although cowboy boots are iconic fashion items, many western wear fans are also into cowboy hats. After all, a cowboy outfit is not complete with a good cowboy hat.

Just recently, many fashion forward people have rediscovered the charm of cowboy hats and along with it, the charm of country music as well. Hank Williams is also another star who rocked cowboy hats. When he was 14, he won a talent contest and later on, his song “Your Cheatin’ Heart” was allover the airwaves.

It seems that with country singers paving the way to the cowboy hat revolution –although it is not called a revolution just yet but a revolution among those who love the type of fashion item. Singers like Kid Rock also wear cowboy hats and sometimes, Steven Tyler wears cowboy hats too.

Football star David Beckham also wears cowboy hats from time to time. He was spotted with his wife former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham sporting a straw cowboy hat.

Denise Richards was also seen wearing a straw cowboy hat at the beach –with her bikini!

Many of us follow suit when a celebrity wears something cool and cowboy hats from old and new cowboy movies are not exempted from this rule. This means ladies and gents that many of us keep an eye out for the latest cowboy hats or the coolest looking ones so we could wear them.

Get a Stetson Malibu. It usually costs about $50 in your local western wear shop. This is a straw hat so basically it is great for the summer and you can wear this even if you aren’t a full fledged cowboy. Do not wear this with your suit though (of course you won’t). Another choice is the Stetson Santa Monica. This one is cheap too and made out of straw. This looks good with anything and is extremely sexy too.

Straw cowboy hats can also be worn at the beach –even if you are a guy.

If you are planning to buy a cowboy hat, make sure that it is not white –white cowboy hats have stopped being hot since cowboy movies became passé. 10-gallon hats, although still worn by some, are now also outdated.

Do not don the whole cowboy regalia if you live in the city though unless you keep things simple i.e. do not wear a plaid shirt.

These hats became very popular because they protected horse riders from the sun and the crown was used for fetching water. The hat was also used to fan the fire when out in the woods or anywhere where cowboys had to be outside. This made Stetson hats quite useful.

Stetson then started selling his hats under the name “Boss of the Plains”. They were sold for $5 each.

Cowboy boots are not complete without cowboy hats because in the old days, they always came together. No cowboy wore cowboy boots without his cowboy hat and that is also true when talking about cowgirls.

The concept of a high crown and broad brimmed hat goes as far back as the 13^th century when horsemen from Mongolia used them. The tall crown of these hats provided enough insulation while the brim provided shade. Another thing is that outfits should never clash – prints should not clash with plains, loose clothes should be used with tight ones, etc. And the most important thing regarding this article would be: cowboy boots and cowboy hats should never match.

To all the outraged people out there who might be asking, why not match the boots and the hat? Well, here’s the simple and straight answer. They shouldn’t match – they should COORDINATE.

If you’re wearing cowboy boots, you can definitely throw in the hat for good measure (unless, of course, you’re wearing them at the wrong time). But don’t you think that the outfit would stand out more if the boots coordinated with the hat, rather than outshine it? Sure, they can be in the same color, but make sure they’re not in the same shade or tone. Turquoise boots won’t look nice with another gaudy-colored thing on your head – muted tones like white might do the trick. Want to wear a cute pink hat without looking sickeningly girly? Try wearing black boots along with it – you’ll look classy rather than nauseating. Mixing and matching is the way to go, but never forget that it should always depend on the outfit as a whole. A killer ensemble would absolutely die with the wrong accessories.

There are other specific details that would vary when taking the wearer into consideration. For example, red cowboy boots would look hot on women, but straight men wearing them would probably send the wrong message, and more so with a red hat. So if you want to be a colorful cowboy without looking less manly, change the color of your hat, not your boots. And if you want to look like a real honest-to-goodness rough-riding gun-toting woman-slinging cowboy, better go with the usual brown and slash or black combination. Note, however, that whatever theme you’re going for, or whatever shade you prefer, the belt should always match the shoes.

And as long as you’re going for the cowboy look, you might as well go all authentic. You don’t want to waste a gorgeous outfit with cheap imitations, do you? And when you’re walking across the street, you’ll be able to hold your head higher knowing that you’re wearing 100% genuine material – no synthetic fiber of that sort – and you’ll look and feel more confident because of it. Besides, who wants their perfectly sunny day ruined by the fashion police suddenly ganging up on them because they were spotted with low quality fakes that just mysteriously expired on the spot? Remember: real cowboys wear real leather. And cowboy or not, nobody likes fake people.

Last word of fashion advice: cowboy boots are a must this season; cowboy hats are not. Therefore, an outfit can revolve around the boots, but the hat is a mere accessory. So make sure the hat never clashes with the shoes; it should never steal the spotlight meant for cowboy boots.

Some of the most important things about cowboy hats are:

• Cowboy hats are worn in public places, not at home nor in a church.
• Cowboy hats are used to show respect to women, officials and even church officials.
• Do not wear white cowboy hats after Labor day.
• Do not take or wear your cowboy hat in a dining table.

Of course, whatever you do, if you are wearing a cowboy hat, you should be wearing cowboy boots as well.
