Caligula (Little Boots)

Published by Sigrid under Uncategorized

Little Boots was one of the Roman Emperors who ruled the Roman Empire after Julius Caesar. His name was Gaius the son of Germanicus, a rather talented and very well-loved general.

Before Germanicus’s death, he was the natural heir to the throne which was later on given to Little Boots. He was called Little Boots because he wore boots along with full military uniform around the camp even if he was still a little boy.

The Romans thought that Caligula would be as great as his father, they did not know however that Caligula (Little Boots) will be one of the maddest tyrants that the empire will ever have.

In fact, Caligula was crazier than Nero and Tiberius. Although Caligula was not a great man not only because he made his favorite horse a magistrate among other crazy deeds, his name says it all when it comes to the history of using cowboy boots even during the time of Augustus, the reigning Emperor before Caligula.
